A Toast to Ten Years!
We had a great time celebrating our tin anniversary last week! It's still hard to believe that we've been in business for 10 years. The company's anniversary was technically January 1st, but we planned the party for April, hoping for a sunny spring day to celebrate. Here's a look at our celebration!
It was great to see so many clients and partners outside the scope of a project. I loved brining our community of clients together with my family and helping them meet a few new faces!
Looking ahead to the next decade, there are a few new happenings at April Force Pardoe Interiors worth mentioning and sharing!
Aspirational Living — by Design
In the fall, as our anniversary was approaching, we took on a rebranding of the business. The look — with a new website and logo — is the obvious change, but we also took some time to consider why we design and what it really means to us. "Aspirational Living — by Design" encompasses what we do and why. We help clients who aspire to a specific lifestyle achieve those aspirations through their home’s design.
MAD Design Studio
This year we are working on finding ways to give back via design. When I was younger, before having kids, I did a lot of volunteer work for various organizations. I haven’t had as much time to do that over the last 10 years and really miss giving back. Through our new “MAD (Make a Difference) Design Studio” we are working to find ways to help Wounded Warriors in the area. Our first project is small, but it’s a start! Sofa’s Etc. has partnered with us to donate art and lighting for Operation Homefront’s Transitional Housing program. There will be details about this in our May newsletter, but I wanted you to be the first to know!
I have been writing a blog for 10 years (I can’t believe that!) and decided it’s time to use the blog in a new way. Our new series, Aspirational Chats, features local women who want to share their aspirational journeys with other women. The main focus is on their home design aspirations and dreams, but during our chat we also give readers insight into their overall aspirational lifestyle. It’s a fun, light-hearted look into their lives, how they live and enjoy life. Our latest chat was with Heather Harvison, Executive Director of Sisters Circle. You can read her chat here.
A big thank you to all of our clients, friends, business partners and family who joined us to toast to this milestone occasion. You make April Force Pardoe Interiors what we are and we are so thankful for your continued support.
Also, a big thank you to our wonderful host, Victoria Gastro Pub. Here's to the next 10!
