Why should I hire an interior designer?

Designers can save you time, frustration and money. They can save you from making costly mistakes you later regret as well as save you from the aggravation of finding painters, reliable contractors, drapery installers and that perfect coffee table that makes you smile every time you see it.

Interior designers help set priorities, offer decision-making guidance, solve problems and establish a plan for your interior decorating projects.

And last, but not least, a good designer will come up with ideas that you’ve never dreamed of!

What is your design process?

I begin every design relationship with a conversation with you. What are your needs, goals and ideas? What do I have to offer toward helping you achieve those goals? How can we work together to create a home you love? Before our consultation I send you my interior design “homework” so I can gather information about your lifestyle, who lives in your home, how you use your rooms and your design preferences and desires.

The in-home consultation is all about listening and gathering information. This is when we get to know each other more and I get to know your home. From there we decide the best next steps and review my interior design service packages.

Do you decorate in all styles?

Yes. I create rooms to meet my clients’ needs and style, not my own. Good design is good design whether it is modern or country (or done on a large or small budget).

How can I find out what your clients think about working with you?

Please see testimonials from past and current clients in the buzz section of my website, under “raves.” References are available upon request.

What are your design fees?

Please contact April (link email) for rates. There is a flat fee for interior design packages (link to services page), one day makeovers and color consultations and hourly rates for design services and consultations.

What geographic area do you serve?
