Last month I completed my favorite-ever “trash to treasure” project that I worked on with a fabulous client. We restored life to an old china cabinet and now it’s the focal point of this young couple’s first home! This month I’d like you to share your “trash to treasure” projects with me and my readers! Let’s start talking about the projects you are most proud of.
Everyone who enters, from March 7 – 31, will be eligible to win a gift card at the end of the month, when I will select the best “trash to treasure” transformation! Here’s how it will work.
1. Post 1 before & 1 after photo of your favorite “trash to treasure” project on the AFP Interiors’ facebook page and share the story of your project. Your project can be as small as a lamp or as large as a sofa or cabinet. (I’m looking for objects and furnishings versus entire rooms.)
2. I’ll load all of your project photos to a blog post at the end of the month and announce my favorite project.
3. The winner will receive a gift card!

I fell in love with this cabinet when I saw it on a walk through Habitat’s ReStore. It’s well made, has clean lines and many great hardware details. I knew if we had it professionally painted and removed the doors, that is could be a stunning piece of furniture for my young clients, who are just starting out. The clients agreed and we worked with Dee Cunningham, Deelite Design, to repaint it.
Won’t you please share your projects with me and my readers? Show your pride in your creative abilities, because I know I have many talented readers! Remember to post your photos by March 31 to be eligible to win. Share this contest with your creative friends too, the more the merrier!
